Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register.

Payment information: when you purchase a plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data and shares limited transaction details with us.

Usage information: pages viewed, exercises attempted, and progress, which we use to operate features like your dashboard and recommendations.

Diagnostic information: if you use a course diagnostic, we may store your responses, attempt status, scores, and the recommendation shown. Diagnostic responses can include work you intentionally submit, so do not include credentials, personal data, or production row-level data.

Lead and attribution information: when you request a guide or toolkit update, we store your email in our lead system. We also record a limited first-touch campaign record (UTM values, landing path, referring hostname, timestamp, and acquisition channel) and associate later eligible activity using an opaque internal Lead identifier.

Analytics and device data: we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. This may include IP address, browser, and device information collected via cookies and similar technologies.

To provide and maintain the Service, including accounts, course access, and progress tracking.

To process payments and manage subscriptions.

To send transactional and, where you have opted in, marketing or educational emails.

To understand which first-touch channel led to a signup or eligible diagnostic attempt without placing email addresses in page URLs or analytics events.

To analyze and improve the Service, and to protect against fraud and abuse.

We share data with vendors who process it on our behalf, including: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), GoHighLevel (lead and email marketing automation), Google Analytics (website usage analytics), and Vimeo (video hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and website analytics. We also set an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax first-touch attribution cookie for up to 90 days and, after a lead signup, an HttpOnly opaque Lead-association cookie. The first-touch cookie contains sanitized campaign values, the landing path, referring hostname, timestamp, and acquisition channel; it does not contain your email.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality or attribution.

The separately installed Analytics Engineering Toolkit plugin is local-first and contains zero anonymous telemetry: it has no background analytics, tracking pixels, usage beacons, or automatic workspace uploads.

Website measurement described in this policy—including Google Analytics, lead capture, first-touch attribution, and GoHighLevel processing—applies to this website. It is distinct from the local plugin. Any future connected plugin feature would require an available service and an explicit, visible approval flow; that connected backend is not currently available.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@analyticsengineering.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
