Use Cursor's local plugin flow.

  1. 01

    Follow the plugin repository's contributor instructions to load the source as a local development plugin.

  2. 02

    Reload Cursor, open Customize, and confirm the expected commands, skills, rules, and hooks are visible.

  3. 03

    Keep connected components disabled. The optional remote backend is not implemented or available.

Cursor documents local plugin behavior in its Plugins guide. Organization administrators may disable local plugin imports.
